"untitled" art exhibit
greetings........
we'll opening a new art exhibit at lyrik this month.......
heres the deal.........
"untitled"
new works in drawing and sculpture by
erik white & adrian melnick
opening reception saturday night
november 6th,2010
7pm till 10pm
with special guest
dj dizzystarhouse
known more for his drumming skills with the band "the silent numbers".......
adrian will be showcasing some new ink drawings and soap stone sculptures
this will be erik's 1st time exhibiting at lyrik...........
erik is currently attending portland state university..........
and will be exhibiting a collection of narrative drawings and new series of portraits.............

"Makin Mistakes" opening 10/2 @ 7pm
greetings.........
we are excited for the return of eatcho and jason graham...... to walls for lyrik........... both of these talented mixed media artists are originally from fresno , ca.......... but now base their studios here in portland.......
look for new collections of work from both artists.......... plus some fresh collaberations...........

"life after death"
Greetings ..........
just wanted to give you a heads up about our next exhibit at lyrik.......... heres the skinny........
"life after death"
new works by natalie phillips & jessamyn patterson
opening reception saturday night august 28th,2010
7pm till 10pm
lyrik2035 se 46th ave.
portland,or.97215
exhibit runs through september 24th,2010
natalie and jessamyn met back in october 2009 at our lyrik counter top painting session......... along with 8 other artists that we invited to customize out shop counters and table tops (http://lyrikpdx.blogspot.com/2009/10/lyrik-art-session.html) .....
they painted next to each other most of the night........ and by the end of the evening decided to have an exhibit together..........
natalie hails from the bay area with an bright colored iconic style....
while jessamyn is new to town from the chicago area......... her work is a mix of freeform organic movements...... dealing with line and jesture........
its been a pleasure sharing their art styles with our customers through the work on the counter tops..........
now we are excited to see their creativity take over the walls..........
